Reading Marathon Up-Date!!
We're now just over halfway through my reading marathon!! So it's time for an update!
So far I have read and finished four books and I am 20% through book five! Here's a summary of the books I have finished so far!
Book 1 - A Dance with the Fae Prince

If you've been following the marathon so far, you'll know that I kicked it off
with an ARC of A Dance with the Fae Prince. And let me tell you, I gobbled it up! What a start!! Read the review here!
Book 2 - The Secret of Dartwood Manor
Prompt - A retelling of a classic tale
My next read was a re-imaging of Sense and Sensibility by Jane Austen! Again, I really enjoyed this book and it was very easy to read quickly! I'm really looking forward to book 2! I posted a review here, if you're interested!
Book 3 - The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo
Prompt - A book of a different genre to your usual reads
It's a well-known fact that I pretty much exclusively read fantasy (with some sci-fi/dystopian on the side) so this one was a challenge for me! That said, I did enjoy it, there's just always something missing in contemporary books for me!
Book 4 - Shadow of the Wicked
Prompt - A book with less than 200 pages
This was a very short read (about 2 hours) of novella. The book was okay.....it didn't entirely grab me but it wasn't unreadable. I always say that short books aren't for me because I have nothing to really get my teeth into! Review coming on my Instagram tonight!
